Notes from the world of latin jazz & Brazilian singer-songwriter Alexa Weber Morales
She is 13 years old, from Montreal. I had heard her version of Ella Fitzgerald's Airmail Special on the radio and on the new tribute CD We All Love Ella. I had no idea she was 12 when she recorded that.

I sing in four languages, crossing borders with acoustic jazz, boleros, salsa and samba. I'm a songwriter, percussionist, dancer, pianist and tree-climber (also a mother, magazine editor and recovering auto mechanic).
