Pix from Santana Row in San Jose

We had a great gig on Tuesday at Santana Row in San Jose, Calif. The San Jose Jazz Society puts on a wonderful concert series called Jazz on the Row during the summer (in addition to the San Jose Jazz Festival, of course). We played to over 500 people, and we had them dancing for most of the show. I also sold quite a few CDs, which was nice. Photographer Maarten van Dijk just happened to be there (as far as I know he was not hired by SJJS) and he took some great pix. My only complaint is that my fabulous band is not pictured. David Flores on drumset, Sam Bevan on bass, Edgardo Cambon on percussion and vocals and the inimitable Murray Low on keys played gorgeously. Here are the pix:

San Jose Jazz Festival Performance

Here's a snippet from our performance of Bill Withers' Use Me at the San Jose Jazz Festival. The visual on this is terrible (it was dusk and there weren't stage lights, but it wasn't actually this dark), and it's sideways--tilt your head to the left. Orlando is playing guiro on my left and the horns are on my right. But the audio is good.
