In the last 8.5 hours I interviewed three people, wrote two articles totalling 3,200 words (including revisions for one), sent one piece to the publisher (one day ahead of deadline) and sent the other for review by the interviewees. Yeahhh!! If only I were this productive all the time...

I sing in four languages, crossing borders with acoustic jazz, boleros, salsa and samba. I'm a songwriter, percussionist, dancer, pianist and tree-climber (also a mother, magazine editor and recovering auto mechanic). Since 2004, I've made five studio recordings, including my two solo efforts, "Jazzmérica" and "Vagabundeo," both produced by three-time Grammy nominee Wayne Wallace. My 2007 release reached top 20 airplay on the JazzWeek World Music chart while my lead singing on Wayne Wallace's "The Reckless Search for Beauty" was simultaneously in the top 10!
